Delhi Chamber of Commerce Provides the Following Services, Amongst Others,To Indian Companies
Delhi chamber of Commerce is one of the oldest Chamber of Commerce Authorised by the Government of India, to issues Certificate of Origin (Non-Preferential) to Indian exporters since 1950, in accordance with Article II of the International Convention Relating to Simplification of Customs Formalities,1923.
Delhi Chamber of Commerce attests commercial documents of various types.
Delhi Chamber of Commerce also gives services to the Exporters of getting their documents attested from the Ministry of External Affairs and thereafter getting it Legalized from the Embassies High Commission in Delhi.
Delhi Chamber of Commerce issues Recommendation Letters for issue of visas for business promotion visits to foreign countries.

Guidelines for Issue of Certificate of Origin / Authentication of Export Documents / Attestation of Commercial Documents
Companies submitting their documents for authentication / attestation by the Chamber are requested to make note of the following :
1. Normally we require around 1 hour for processing the documents.
2. All documents should be submitted with a forwarding letter on the company's letter head.
3. While submitting the Certificates of Origin, please take care of the following:
- * The Certificates should be in the proper format (blank forms available at the Chamber's Counter or
can be downloaded from our website).
- * Full address of the consignor and the consignee should be legibly typed.
- * The Certificates or other documents should be duly signed with the designation of the signatory
Clearly stated.
- * The company's stamp / seal should be affixed.
- * Application for Certificate of Origin should be submitted duly filled and signed with the set of
Certificate of Origin and Invoice submitted for issue and attestation
4. Please note that the Chamber retains a copy of any document authenticated / attested by it for its record
and accordingly an additional copy should invariably be attached for our office records.
5. A copy of the Invoice should be invariably attached for authentication / attestation purposes.
6. The Chamber charges Rs. 100/- (+ GST) from Members and Rs. 150/- (+ GST) from Non-Members, for up to 6 copies of a document or part thereof for authentication / attestation.
7. Sufficient space should be left on the front-side of the documents for affixing Chamber's seal and
signatures of the authorised signatory.
8. Normally authentication / attestation fee is accepted in cash but exporters can remit the same through
Bank Drafts drawn in favour of "Delhi Chamber of Commerce".
9. Exporters may send their Certificates by post along with remittance of necessary fee. The Certificates will be returned under ordinary postal cover. In case you want the Certificates to be returned under Registered Post or through courier, please remit the postal charges also. The Chamber bears no responsibility for loss of documents in postal transit.
Guidelines for Issuance of Recommendation letters for Visa
Delhi Chamber of Commerce issues recommendation letters for issue of visa for business promotion visits to foreign countries. Delhi Chamber of Commerce has been advised to obtain certain basic information before issuing the recommendation letters for issuance of visa are requested to furnish the following information to Delhi Chamber of Commerce at the time of applying.
1. Request letter addressed to Delhi Chamber of Commerce,on the printed letterhead of the company,clearly specifying the name of person who is seeking the visa,his/her designation in the company,his/her passport number and the country(s) to be visited.
2. Photocopy of the passport of the person applying for the visa.
3. Photocopies of invitation letters received from the country(s) to be visited.
4. DCC charges Rs.200 + GST @18% per letter, per person.
Visa Recommendation Letters is issued only to the Members of Delhi Chamber of Commerce.
Meeting all the above requirements does not necessarily mean that the visa recommendation letter will be issued by Delhi Chamber of Commerce automatically. Delhi Chamber of Commerce has the right to reject any request without specifying the reason.
